DISCO DIMENSION GEOMETRY ANIMATION STUDIO

Open project.blend in Blender 5.2+. The geometry, lights and sound timeline are editable without running scripts. The supplied song is packed into the project.

Default output: 2560 x 1440 (2K / QHD), 60 fps. Choose 1920 x 1080 or 2560 x 1440 in the browser output selector. The downloaded .blend is already set to QHD.

The base selector supports square, triangle, pentagon and hexagon; the endpoint selector stops construction at 2D through 6D. Config fields geometry.base_shape and geometry.end_dimension store these choices. Square produces the cube and hypercube family. Other bases produce the regular polygon multiplied by perpendicular line segments, named as polygon x cube products. Every construction starts at a point, forms a line, and then forms its two-dimensional base.

For real-time controls, visit https://oddsprig.com/tools/geometry/ . Import project.json, edit colors, light angles and connection mode, then download the settings and replace project.json in this folder.

Rebuild with: python source/export.py --config project.json --build-only
Render with: python source/export.py --config project.json
Whole song: python source/export.py --config music_video.json

The full local project includes 480 optional face diagonals in a separate collection. The compact downloadable .blend omits that hidden geometry to keep the download small; selecting face-diagonals in studio.connections.mode and rebuilding creates it again.

Environment controls live in studio.environment. Light angle, elevation, power and size live in studio.light. The light and floor/wall objects may also be moved directly in Blender.

Neon glow, smooth brightness pulse, tempo, moving colored lights, accent power and the shape-origin light are controlled by studio.style. The physical colored lights cast real shadows onto the floor and walls. A separate glow finish preserves crisp lines underneath the halo. Six Neon palettes change the color scheme on successive rounds.

Higher rotation is a mathematically defined x-w rotation before projection. Extra diagonals are a visual layer; they do not change the hypercube's dimension or exact edge graph. The floor and wall shadows belong to the 3D projection displayed in the scene.

Song: Make a Copy, Move, Connect, supplied by the project owner from Lyria.
